Frequently asked questions
What areas can PRP treat?
What happens during a treatment?
We will draw your blood, using a centrifuge we will separate the PRP. We apply a topical numbing, depending on the area we are treating. Our nurse then uses a microneedling device to create multiple micro-punctures, driving the growth factors into your skin and stimulating your stem cells.
Is there downtime after PRP?
You’ll experience overall redness and swelling of your skin as a result of microneedling, but this will subside within 24-48 hours. You may have some peeling and dryness that will dissipate within a week, revealing refreshed, luminous skin with continued improvements in the weeks following treatment.
When will I see results & how long will they last?
PRP revitalizes your skin from deep within, providing long-lasting, age-defying improvements. You’ll notice optimal results within four to six weeks following your treatment with benefits lasting up to a year or two, depending on your body’s unique response.
